The Young Ladies PSK Award Series (YLPA) was devised by the European PSK Club on 22nd May 2008. This was to sponsor a series of PSK awards for contacts with YL stations. Any award in this series may be claimed by any licensed radio amateur, club station or DMS/SWL eligible under the EPC Awards General Rules who can produce evidence of having contacted or monitored ladies on PSK modes. Credit will be given for contacts made on any of the amateur bands below 30 MHz. Contacts count on or after 10th June 2006.

There are 4 award levels available: YLPA 100, 200, 300, and 400 issued to those who earn 100, 200, 300, and 400 points for PSK contacts with different YL amateur radio stations respectively. Each contact with YL station, member of the EPC is worth 2 points. Each contact with YL station, non-EPC member is worth 1 point. A multiplier of 1 (one) is for each different DXCC country operated by YL station. The final score is the result of the total QSO points multiplied by the sum of DXCC multipliers.

If you have worked the same YL station as portable or mobile from the same DXCC country, it still counts as 1 call sign. For example - 3 contacts with RK3DNU, RK3DNU/p, and RK3DNU/m give you only 2 points and 1 multiplier. If you have worked later RK3DNU from Kazakhstan like UN/RK3DNU, this QSO gives you another 2 points and 1 multiplier (in case if you didn't work another YL from Kazakhstan). The DXCC country activated by any YL station counts as a multiplier only once. Please also watch club stations since they can be operated by YLs as well. If you have worked the same club station operated by different YL operators, such contacts also give you points and multipliers. For example - if you have worked MM0EPC (op. Marina) and MM0EPC (op. Christina), you get 2 points for each QSO, and 1 multiplier (in case if you didn't work another YL from Scotland).

Please make sure that the COMMENT field in your log contains #YL code for each contacted personal YL station, or #CSYL code for each contacted club station with YL operator, # tag is required. This is a mandatory requirement to make able the manager's software to check your application correctly.
