The Central Asian PSK Excellence (CAPE) programme recognises confirmed PSK QSOs with the qualifying regional divisions of Central Asia. A separate diploma, Central Asian PSK Laureate (CAPL), is issued for confirmed QSOs with all five Central Asian states.

This is the entry-level diploma of the programme and marks the beginning of regional Central Asian coverage.
Awarded for confirmed PSK QSOs with 20 different qualifying regions of Central Asia.
This diploma recognises wider regional activity and growing coverage across multiple Central Asian administrations.
Awarded for confirmed PSK QSOs with 30 different qualifying regions of Central Asia.
This level reflects sustained activity and substantial geographic spread within the programme area.
Awarded for confirmed PSK QSOs with 40 different qualifying regions of Central Asia.
This diploma marks advanced regional coverage and significant achievement in the CAPE series.
Awarded for confirmed PSK QSOs with 50 different qualifying regions of Central Asia.
This is the top published class of the CAPE regional series and recognises very extensive Central Asian regional coverage.
Issued for confirmed PSK QSOs with all five states of Central Asia: Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
CAPL is a distinct country-level diploma and is not tied to the 10/20/30/40/50 regional progression of the CAPE series.
- The programme covers the Central Asian states of Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
- CAPE is a regional award series based on qualifying regional divisions within those five countries.
- CAPL is a separate country-level award for complete five-country coverage.
- Any licensed radio amateur, club station, or SWL may apply, subject to the general EPC award rules.
- Applicants must submit adequate proof for every claimed contact or monitored reception.
- Only PSK QSOs or monitored receptions with amateur radio stations located in the qualifying Central Asian countries may be counted.
- All PSK modes and baud rates may be accepted, subject to the applicable award management rules.
- Each qualifying region may be counted once toward the claimed CAPE level.
- The CAPE series is issued for 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 confirmed qualifying regions.
- Regional credit is assigned according to the official reference table shown below.
- CAPL is issued for confirmed PSK QSOs with all five states of Central Asia.
- The five required countries are Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan.
- Applications should be supported by an ADIF log or equivalent acceptable evidence.
- For reliable checking, each claimed QSO should carry the territory reference in the COMMENT field, for example #CAPE OS, #CAPE NM, etc.
- The applicant is responsible for the correctness of callsigns, dates, modes, bands, and regional or country credits claimed.
- The qualifying table below lists the Central Asian regional units used for CAPE credit.
- The table contains 55 regions in total: 9 in Kyrgyzstan, 5 in Tajikistan, 6 in Turkmenistan, 14 in Uzbekistan, and 21 in Kazakhstan.
- The award manager may request clarification where log data are incomplete or ambiguous.
- The interpretation of regional and country credit rests with the award administration.
