The Bartolomeu Dias PSK Voyage Award (BDPVA) recognizes amateur radio contacts made in PSK mode with modern territories associated with the documented voyage route and historical sphere of Bartolomeu Dias.
For this award, the qualification list is intentionally defined using modern countries, provinces, islands and regional call areas rather than a purely historical narrative route. The applicant must submit an ADIF log proving contacts with amateur radio stations from any 10 different valid BDPVA territories.
The award is dedicated to the 20th Anniversary of the European PSK Club (2006-2026).

- The BDPVA may be claimed by any licensed radio amateur, club station, or eligible SWL/DMS operator under the applicable EPC general rules.
- All operation must comply with the operator's licence conditions and the relevant award framework.
- The applicant must provide evidence of having contacted amateur radio stations from any 10 different valid BDPVA territories listed in the territory table below.
- The valid list contains 11 territories in total.
- Each territory counts only once toward the qualification total.
- Contacts must be documented in ADIF format.
- Only PSK contacts are valid for this award.
- Any PSK variant and any baud rate may be used.
- Credit is valid on amateur bands below 54 MHz.
- Mixed-band submissions are permitted.
- This award is based on a defined BDPVA territory list rather than on a single DXCC-entity requirement.
- The list combines modern countries, islands and regional call areas connected with the Bartolomeu Dias voyage theme.
- For regional prefixes such as ZS1 and ZS2, the territory is counted according to the specified regional designation shown in the table.
