The French PSK Award Series (FRPA) was devised by the European PSK Club on 23rd August 2008. This was to sponsor a series of PSK awards based on the EPC membership and administrative system of France.

In the context of the political and geographic organization of mainland France, a department is an administrative division roughly analogous to an English county. There are 94 mainland French departments in total.

There are nine FRPA awards available - FRPA-10, FRPA-20, FRPA-30, FRPA-40, FRPA-50, FRPA-60, FRPA-70, FRPA-80, and FRPA-90. FRPA awards may be claimed by any licensed radio amateur, club station or SWL/DMS eligible under the EPC Awards General Rules who can produce evidence of having contacted EPC members from 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, and 90 different EU areas (departments) within France by using any type of the Phase Shift Keying. Contacts for FRPA awards are valid on or after 10th June 2006.
